Composite Decking

The ecologically friendly, longer lasting alternative to traditional timber systems

Unsplashed background img 1

Optima-Dek Composite Decking is an environmentally friendly alternative to traditional timber decking systems. The reinforced planks have a dramatically extended lifespan compared to ordinary wood decking, and won’t crack, split or warp like natural timber. Optima-Dek requires no pre-treatment or staining – simply lay the planks and enjoy!

Optima-Dek planks and joists are manufactured by extruding sustainably-sourced and meticulously treated wood fibres, combined with grade A recycled high density polyethylene. EcoCradle recycled rubber pedestals can also be added to create a truly sustainable decking system from top to bottom.

Easy to work with

Optima-Dek is available in 5 colours and can be fitted either “smooth” or “grooved” side up. The boards fit together using a simple hidden clip system and the EcoCradles can be loose laid at regular intervals for a fast and cost effective levelling system that also provides added acoustic insulation.
